Milking News

 Well I normally do not brag on a product but I now use a product for Milking that I really believe is a time saver beyond belief. I am using a product called UDDERLY EZ MILKER.This is a hand help unit that you pump a few times and the milk comes out into an attached bottle. No Electricity, No equipment to move around for just a few animals it is truely GREAT.I was milking 3 ewes that had single lambs and instead of setting up all my milking equipment, running my vacuum pump  and all for a few minutes of milking when now all I do is sanitize a couple of parts, assemble and I am ready.Really,this is the best time saver for milking 1,2 3 or even 4 animals.There parts for Sheep, Goats and cows and the bottles come in different sizes also.  coming out now after we have stopped Milking.

 We still have tours and the kids can

 feed the sheep as

We had another great Farm Visit as we had the RED HAT LADIES from OZARKS.

They enjoyed seeing MIlking Of The Sheep as they never saw such a thing.

They also tasted Cheese and SMUDGE and tried some of our Lotions.

    This was our Last Milking for this year but we still have FREE Visits to show you our

Farm, Tell you a little about Sheep's MIlk, Milking Sheep and what we do here so even though

  we do not have Milking 101 Come Out To The Country and Set A While And Visit !

  We will post a message next year when we start Lambing so you can come out

    and see them and also when we start Milking we will post a message here !!

We had a group of 52 from Owensville called the Merry Melody Makers come for a tour on

 April 24 and a few did Milk.

We had quite a good time.Pictures below!! A big Thank Ewe to Wright County Road Dept.,

out of Hartville.They graded the road the day before this bus came thru.

We The lake of the Ozarks school come for a tour.We had 150 children and some great adults watching them!!
